Discover Northern District
This group focuses on northern high ground, where hills and volcanic uplands contrast with lower coastal and valley landscapes. The named features occupy separate positions across a politically complex border region; their geographical locations do not imply a continuous walking route between them.
The northern uplands sit beside the deep Jordan Rift landscape, where nearby changes in elevation are particularly striking. Lake Tiberias and the hills around it form a different physical setting from both the Mediterranean coastal plain and the arid Negev farther south.
