Cameroon Three Peaks Challenge
Cameroon’s contrasting highlands, from northern border mountains to volcanic Fako.

Discover Adamaoua
Mount Cameroon rises in the southwest above the Gulf of Guinea coast, far from the northern border highlands represented by the other two mountains. This is a journey across separate Cameroonian mountain regions, with substantial geographical separation rather than one compact cluster.
The shift from Fako to the northern highlands also crosses contrasting climatic environments. Cameroon's coast is tropical, while the far north becomes hotter and more semiarid. Volcanic terrain near the Gulf of Guinea is therefore only one component of this broader, multi-region mountain journey.

Mount Cameroon (Fako)
Fako is the main summit of Mount Cameroon, the volcanic mountain above Buea in the southwest of the country. This is a separate destination from the northern highlands and requires a wider Cameroon itinerary.
