Discover Silesia
Czantoria, Barania Góra and Mędralowa focus on Poland's southern border hills and mountains. Their setting is distinct from the higher Tatra peaks farther east and from the broad low plains that occupy much of Poland north of the mountain belt.
Czantoria and Barania Góra belong to the Silesian Beskids, while Mędralowa occupies another part of the western Beskid mountain belt. These are distinct borderland uplands within the Carpathians. Wooded slopes and river valleys give the region a different character from the sharply alpine terrain of the High Tatras.
