The landscapes of Seychelles

The Seychelles combines rocky granitic inner islands with much lower coral islands and reefs. On Mahé, a narrow coastal strip gives way to a hilly and mountainous interior. This high ground belongs to a different island type from the flatter outer parts of the archipelago.
