Three Peaks challenges in Cyprus
Cyprus combines a central plain with mountain systems to its north and south. The higher interior contrasts with the surrounding Mediterranean coastline and the scattered lowland areas along the southern shore.
The landscapes of Cyprus
The Troodos mountains contain Mount Olympus and form the island’s highest interior landscape. A separate northern range overlooks the central plain, creating another distinct backdrop to Cyprus’s coastal settlements. These mountain systems should be understood separately when browsing destinations: a journey within Troodos and one centred on the northern hills would explore different parts of the island’s geography.
