Three Peaks challenges in Denmark
Denmark's mainland and principal islands are low, gently rolling landscapes. A walking journey here is shaped by coastal geography and modest hills, rather than by the three major mountain summits found elsewhere.
The landscapes of Denmark
Jutland and the Danish islands offer low hills, open ground and a strong relationship with the surrounding seas. The mainland high points are modest, even by northern European standards. A three-point walking journey here would be about viewpoints and local landscapes, rather than three major summits; Greenland’s mountains are a separate geographical setting and should not be silently substituted.
