Discover Sierra Nevada Three Peaks
Mulhacén, Alcazaba and Veleta bring the scale of Spain’s Sierra Nevada into a single mountain journey. Mulhacén is the highest summit on the Iberian Peninsula; Alcazaba stands nearby with a striking mountain profile; and Veleta forms another major landmark of the range. These are high mountains above Andalucía, offering a very different setting from the region’s cities and Mediterranean coast.
The trio is concentrated within one range, making it a coherent choice for a mountain-focused visit. The landscape includes broad uplands, rocky slopes and the legacy of past glaciation, with conditions changing markedly through the year. Granada and the villages of the Alpujarra provide contrasting places to spend time around the mountain days.
