Discover Tenerife Three Peaks
Teide, Pico Viejo and Guajara reveal different sides of Tenerife’s volcanic interior. Teide dominates the island and is Spain’s highest summit, while Pico Viejo forms a neighbouring volcanic peak with a large crater. Guajara stands on the southern side of the Las Cañadas landscape, looking back towards the two volcanoes. Together they make the geography of the national park easier to understand on the ground.
This itinerary moves beyond the coastal image of Tenerife into a landscape of lava, rock and wide volcanic views. Guajara is especially rewarding for seeing Teide as part of its surroundings rather than only as a summit to reach. Access arrangements for the Teide summit must be considered in advance. Enquire about a three-peak visit with enough time for the mountains and the contrasting landscapes elsewhere on the island.
