Discover Vermont
Vermont's Green Mountains provide a clear shared identity for Mount Mansfield, Camels Hump and Killington Peak. The three summits run broadly north to south through the state, pairing wooded slopes with the upland skyline that defines much of Vermont's interior. This is a mountain journey closely tied to the surrounding New England valleys.
Mansfield lies near Stowe, Camels Hump occupies a more central position, and Killington anchors the southern end of this selection. Their distribution makes several bases or a journey through the state more natural than treating them as neighbouring peaks. The appeal comes from following the Green Mountains' changing setting, with individual summits and the communities below them contributing to one recognisable Vermont landscape.
