Discover Wyoming
Wyoming's mountains cover a vast state, and Medicine Bow Peak, Laramie Peak and Avalanche Peak deliberately represent different regions. The first belongs to the Snowy Range in the south, Laramie Peak stands farther northeast, and Avalanche Peak brings in the high country near Yellowstone's eastern side. This is a broad Wyoming enquiry.
Medicine Bow's mountain landscape provides the closest connection with the state's southeastern towns, while Laramie Peak forms a separate landmark above the surrounding country. Avalanche adds a very different northwestern setting. Combining all three would mean a substantial journey between regions, so the selection should be understood as a set of mountain anchors for exploring Wyoming rather than a ready-made continuous summit itinerary.
