Three Peaks challenges in Czechia
Czechia's western Bohemian basin is ringed by uplands and mountains, while Moravia is notably hilly. Border ranges and interior plateaus give its mountain destinations a different scale and character from the Alps.
The landscapes of Czechia
The highest ground lies along the northern border around Sněžka, while lower ranges enclose much of Bohemia. Moravia adds a different pattern of hills and corridors farther east. These are varied upland landscapes rather than one continuous mountain chain, so choosing a particular border range or interior region gives a three-peak enquiry a clearer geographical identity.
